Hi all,

Does anyone have any tips on how they address the issue of version control for their content in Moodle? My content mostly consists of Moodle books, embedded videos, web text and internal and external web links. I don't tend to use PDFs etc where version control of an individual document is straight forward.

Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Helen

We are looking at using an LMS based on Moodle and I have been trying to work out whether it has Version Control as well - I haven't been able to find any documentation on about version control or document flow and therefore, the only way I can see is the "old" way - of putting in a date and version in the file name.

Regards, Susan

Hi Susan,

I also posted this query on LinkedIn- Moodlers Online and have had a few replies, if you would like to take a look

It doesn't seem to be quite as straightforward as I would have liked.

Kind regards,
