QLD - Graphic Facilitation Skills for Trainers 1-day workshop

GRAPHIC FACILITATION SKILLS FOR TRAINERS
This session is designed for trainers and facilitators who want to inject creativity and engagement into their workshops

•   Do your attendees find PowerPoint delivery dull and boring?
•   Do you have difficulty getting attendees involved in discussions or decision making?
•   Would you like to run more creative and dynamic workshops with very memorable results?

Many trainers use PowerPoint to deliver their content, but there are more powerful and interactive methods at your fingertips –
Dare to ditch the projector, pull up the blinds and get your learners engaged using paper and coloured markers!
Graphic facilitation involves capturing on large sheets of wall hung paper, in words and colourful images, people’s ideas and comments as they are being spoken in the moment.

Workshop outcomes
•   Engage your attendees’ right from the start with visual techniques.
•   Dynamically capture ideas and input on large wall hung templates
•   Centre group work around prepared templates that focus discussion and result in memorable outcomes

Agenda
•   The power of visual thinking in groups
•   Learning to record using pictures and words
•   Creating graphical templates
•   Live recording practice
•   Saving the charts to create a reference guide
