Join us for an interactive session with three AITD Excellence Awards winners as they share insights into their award-winning programs and reveal how they designed innovative, high-impact learning experiences.

We are delighted to have Tom Bailey join us —AITD NSW Divisional Council President, awards judge, and recipient of the 2025 Dr Alastair Rylatt Award for L&D Professional of the Year. Tom will share his expert insights on how to craft a strong awards nomination, explain how the judging process works, and answer any questions you have about submitting for the AITD Excellence Awards.

Our three featured Award Winners

  • InfraBuild’s Leading Safety program empowers frontline operational leaders with the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills needed to foster a strong, positive safety culture. Developed in-house by the Safety and Organisational Development teams, the program combines best-practice learning design with a blended delivery approach tailored to a workforce that often faces engagement barriers in traditional classroom and online environments.

In this session, Learning and Development Manager Lucy Hood will share the real-world challenges the team addressed, outline the program’s structure, and present the impressive outcomes it has delivered.

  • Lisa Harrison, Founder of The Learning Pyramid, will present The Emerge Program, a dynamic blended learning solution developed for Frasers Property. Featuring over 20 integrated components, the program immerses participants in a series of learning experiences and practical tasks designed to enhance their current performance, support career growth, and strengthen workplace relationships.

Now in its third year, The Emerge Program continues to exceed expectations—delivering measurable growth in skills and capabilities, and generating ongoing demand across the organisation.

  • The ACADEME People Leader Program (PLP) plays a vital role in supporting TFE Hotels’ purpose to “Forever reimagine the way you feel welcome.”

With over a decade of impact and more than one hundred alumni, ACADEME has been instrumental in developing the next generation of hospitality leaders. Matthew Peade, Director of Learning and Organisational Development, will share how ACADEME has evolved into more than a leadership program—it’s a thriving community of passionate professionals committed to elevating guest experiences and shaping the future of TFE Hotels.

In this session, Matthew will explore how the program strategically aligns with business needs, its blended structure and methodologies, and how leveraging internal resources has delivered lasting value and measurable impact across the organisation.
