How do I renew my membership?

When your membership is due for renewal you will receive an email with instructions on how to renew your membership.

Can I pay my membership quarterly?

Currently, members can only make an annual payment for their membership. For your convenience, this can be set up as an automatic payment from your credit card.

How do I update my contact details?

Go to 'Member Login' at the top right corner of this page to sign in and click  'My Portal' You can then amend your details at the 'Personal Details' and 'Addresses' links.  Alternatively, contact membership@aitd.com.au .

How do I apply for fellowship?

To become an AITD fellow or associate fellow, you must meet certain criteria. To find out more and apply, please click on the links below:

My company is a corporate member. Does this mean I get member rates?

Corporate members have access to all the amazing member benefits offered with AITD membership. Corporate membership only covers individuals on the membership, not the organisation as a whole. If your name is listed directly under the corporate membership you will receive access to member benefits. To find out whether you are covered by corporate membership, please contact bdm@aitd.com.au  

Professional Development

How do I book a course?

Click on the Professional Development tab on the menu bar to reveal the courses tab.  Then select the course you are interested in for more information and to make a booking. If you have any questions about registering for a course, please contact courses@aitd.com.au

What is the easiest way to register for a local event?

You can register online for local events here or by clicking on the Events tab on the menu bar and selecting Local Events, then Upcoming Local Events. If you have any questions about registering for an event, please contact admin@aitd.com.au.

How can I organise in-house training?

Contact bdm@aitd.com.au to discuss in-house professional development opportunities for your team. 

I booked a course but cannot make it on the day. What do I do?

AITD requires written notice at least 10 working days prior to the course commencement date in order to issue a refund. A 20% cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund. Cancellations made less than 10 working days prior will not be refunded but the registration may be transferred to an alternate attendee. To cancel your registration, please contact courses@aitd.com.au

I just missed out on registering for a course. Can I put my name down on a waiting list for the next one?

New course dates are being added to our website all the time. Check out our upcoming course list here or contact courses@aitd.com.au 

Will I receive a certificate after attending a course?

You will be able to download a certificate of attendance from the 'Event Certificates' area beneath 'My Content', 'Certificates' in 'My Portal' after the course has taken place.  AITD also issues digital badges for course attendance - more information can be found here.

How do I apply to present a webinar?

If you have a great idea for a webinar presentation, contact bdm@aitd.com.au.

When is the next intake for the mentoring program?

The AITD mentoring program runs annually and applications usually open early in the year. To find out more, contact courses@aitd.com.au.

Conference

How do I apply to speak at conference?

AITD will call for expressions of interest via email and social media, and the expression of interest form will be available on our website. Our conference committee will select speakers to meet the needs of our overall program. For more information contact events@aitd.com.au

Payments

Do you offer discounts for not-for-profits?

There are no specific discounts for not-for-profits; however, if you are suffering financial hardship, please contact us to discuss your options. 

Can I pay my invoice through My Portal?

Yes if paying via credit card.

If you'd like to pay via direct deposit, our bank details are displayed on your invoice. Please quote your Invoice Number as your payment reference.

Miscellaneous

How do I get involved with my local divisional council?

Nominations and elections for divisional councils occur annually in July/August for 12 month council terms commencing on 1 September. More information can be found here .

If there are current vacancies on your local divisional council, you may apply to be seconded to the council outside of the normal election process.
