How can we design learning experiences and organisational practices that make a difference long after a session ends? In this playful, practical workshop, you’ll explore the habits and assumptions that limit learning’s impact and work with fellow L&D practitioners on a real challenge from your own practice to flip that script.

You’ll experience Liberating Structures—simple ways to organise conversations that make space for everyone to contribute, build connections and uncover fresh possibilities. Leave with practical ideas, new peer connections and one achievable change to help your learners put learning into action.

Bring a current workshop, course or learning program you’d like to strengthen.

Key takeaways:

  • Recognise practices and assumptions that can get in the way of learners applying what they’ve learned

  • Identify ways to use these structures within learning sessions and as ongoing support for learners

  • Choose one practical change you can make using your existing resources and influence

  • Discover a developmental evaluation tool to use with a group to quickly assess immediate potential.

  • Experience how Liberating Structures enable meaningful participation, peer support and collaborative problem-solving.
