Learning and Development professionals are increasingly being asked to design, implement and embed capability frameworks that drive organisational performance and future-proof our workforce. But how do you approach capability frameworks in a way that is practical, engaging and meet the evolving needs of your organisation?

Join the SA Divisional Council and the local L&D community for an engaging conversation around all of this and more. You will hear from four different speakers with different experiences and perspectives on capability frameworks. They will:

• Share their unique experiences with capability frameworks, including building and embedding new frameworks and even inheriting existing frameworks.
• What worked well in their experience and why.
• Their key learnings from their experiences – what would they do differently if given the chance.

Abbie Taylor - Organisational Development Manager, Beaumont Tiles / AITD 

As a seasoned People & Culture professional, Abbie has over 15 years’ experience Championing Culture Change and Driving Performance Excellence across a wide variety of industries including government, food and beverage, agriculture, education, and retail. 

In her current role, as the Organisational Development Manager at Beaumont Tiles, Abbie supports and guide team members across Australia to realise their potential and to grow their careers, through personal and professional development. 

Additionally, she is the National President and Non-Executive Director with the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD). As Chair of the Board, she provides leadership and strategic direction that ensures AITD has a sustainable business model in service of our members.

Abbie’s specialties include: Strategic direction for leaders, talent and succession management, organisational development, change management, building strong and sustainable cultures, and coaching.

Linda Lloyd - Long-term L&D Professional, Professional Member AITD 

With over two decades of experiences across the financial services industry, Linda has successfully navigated through various roles. Her expertise lies in learning and development, wellbeing and coaching which she has passionately pursued in recent years.

Linda is a lifelong learner and embraces the chance to acquire new skills and abilities, and her true joy lies in sharing her knowledge with others. Linda’s ultimate goal is to empower individuals to unlock their full potential and achieve success.

Kier Pitt - Learning and Development Specialist, HomeStart 

Kier is an experienced and professional Development Leader with diverse experience in team leadership, mentoring, organisational learning and development, change management, and instructional design, development and delivery.
As a passionate advocate of empowerment, Kier aims to grow resilient and capable communities through the provision of innovative development initiatives. Whether reimagining leadership development, implementing change, building capability or designing immersive learning experiences, she focuses on co-creating solutions that enable both people and organisations to thrive through change.

Morgan Yarwood - Senior Capability Partner, Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator 

A learning and development practitioner who is dedicated to creating impactful experiences and delivering meaningful training. Morgan’s strengths and passions include facilitation, change management, project-based learning and providing environments for personal growth. She believes in centring the wellbeing of learners at the forefront of everything she does and creating safe environments in order to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.
