Join the AITD Qld Divisional Council for AITD Conference Conversations: Queensland Edition, an evening designed to bring the big ideas, practical insights and energy of the AITD Conference back into the Queensland L&D community.

This member and guest event is your chance to connect directly with Queensland-based speakers from this year’s AITD Conference in a more personal and interactive setting. Rather than listening from the back of a room, you’ll be part of the conversation, asking questions, sharing your own experiences and exploring what these ideas mean in real workplaces.

Hosted in a World Café style format, the evening will begin with drinks, nibbles and networking before moving into small table discussions led by invited speakers. Participants will rotate through several tables across the evening, giving you the opportunity to hear different perspectives, meet new people and engage with current thinking across learning, capability, leadership and organisational development.

There are no formal presentations and no long slide decks. Instead, expect thoughtful prompts, lively discussion, practical takeaways and generous sharing from people working at the edge of L&D practice.

Whether you attended the conference or couldn’t make it this year, this is your opportunity to be part of the conversation, connect with Queensland’s L&D community and leave with fresh ideas, useful connections and renewed energy for your own work.

By attending this event, you will:

  • Gain fresh insights from Queensland-based speakers from this year’s AITD Conference and explore how their ideas apply in real L&D contexts.
  • Connect with other L&D professionals through small-group conversations, questions and shared experiences.
  • Hear practical perspectives on current challenges, opportunities and emerging practice across learning, capability, leadership and organisational development.
  • Leave with new ideas, useful connections and prompts to take back into your own work.
