Gopal SIJAPATI
About Me
Since December 2021, Gopal has been working as Professional Year Program Facilitator at QIBA Hobart. From February 2022 to August 2023, he has undertaken the role of Research and Data Officer at Keystone Tasmania (Tasmanian Building and Construction Training Board). Previously, he worked as the Academic and Compliance Manager for a private RTO.
Between 2017 to mid 2018, he worked at Opera Academy, Sydney where he solely led institutional operations and management bearing the role of Senior TESOL Teacher as well as Manager - Educational Development and Research. Gopal also operated his own Teaching Centre named "GS Teaching Services" in Sydney between 2014 to 2017.
For the UNICEF project, Gopal worked as the Senior Curriculum Developer on behalf of Renewable World UK Nepal. He also conducted a research project funded by British Council Nepal.
Gopal holds THREE tertiary qualifications - Master of Research (Western Sydney University), Master of International Relations (Macquarie University), Master of Education in English Language Education (Tribhuvan University). Additionally, he also holds Graduate Diploma of Management Learning, Diploma of Leadership and Management, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and Certificate IV in TESOL.
Besides his teaching and educational services management roles, Gopal is passionate in writing articles and conducting research activities. He has published around 50 newspaper articles (journalistic) in Nepali mainstream newspapers - The Kathmandu Post, The Himalaya Times and Republica.
He is the author of the book - Easy Steps in English Conversation (for Nepali English Beginner) in 2008.
