About Me
I’ve been a trainer, lecturer and consultant for IT, computing, software development and software engineering since 2001. My experience includes in Singapore, the United Kingdom, Germany, Malaysia and Australia.
I have a Master in Information Technology from Charles Sturt University(Australia) and PhD in Electrical Computer Communication Engineering from London Soutn Bank University (United Kingdom)
My teaching experience started in 2001 as a lecturer for software engineering at London South Bank University. In 2012, I joined a Malaysian government agency, MIMOS Berhad. Between 2012 and 2014, I have managed 3 software development projects, using technologies and methodologies of DevOps, Agile development, MySQL and SQL Server 2012, LAMP server & Virtual Machine(VM) environment, JIRA for testing/tracking/bug fixes through integration with versioning using GitHub and GitLab.
From 2016 to 2017, I have taught Software & Mobile Development for undergraduates, staff re-training programmes and post-graduates intending to pursue a career as programmers and developers. Since 2017, I conduct training and workshops in MERN FullStack, Agile, JIRA, Linux/Unix OS, Git/GitLab/GitHub/BitBucket, SQL(MySQL, MS SQL Server), NoSQL(MongoDB, Neo4J), UI/UX, Interaction Design, Design Thinking, DevOps (DevSecOps), Infographics, Graphics/Video. mobile/web development, and Digital Transformation for Sustainable Development as a Principal Trainer with Marc & Zed Training Pte Ltd, Singapore.
