TERMS & CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION
The following terms and conditions apply when registering for the AITD conference.
Payment of Fees
Conference registration must be paid for prior to the event, either at the time of booking or within 7 days of an invoice being issued.
Conference places are limited and are not secured until payment has been received. Attendees will receive confirmation of their registration within five (5) working days of making payment.
Any pre-release, early-bird or discounted registration fees must be paid by the expiry date of the offer otherwise standard pricing will apply.
AITD will take active steps to collect any outstanding fees, including the engagement of a collection agency.
Cancellation of Attendance
AITD conference registration is subject to a cooling-off period of 7 days.
7 DAYS OR LESS AFTER REGISTRATION
If a cancellation is made seven (7) days or less after registration, the attendee may request either:
- a refund of the registration fee, minus a twenty percent (20%) cancellation administration fee OR
- a credit note for the full amount to be used within 12 months.
If the invoice for the conference is unpaid, the twenty percent (20%) cancellation fee will be payable to AITD.
MORE THAN 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION
No refunds will be made for cancellations made more than seven (7) days after registration.
Any unpaid invoices issued for the conference will be considered outstanding for payment.
Transfer of Registration
Registration may be transferred to a substitute attendee providing full payment has been received by AITD. No additional fees are payable except the price difference between a member and non-member registration, if applicable.
Events Changes and Cancellations
AITD reserves the right to vary the program, timings, presenters, facilitators and speakers where necessary and retains the right to cancel the conference at any time. In the event that the conference is cancelled, AITD will offer a full refund, credit note or transfer the registration to a future event.
AITD is not liable for any travel, accommodation or other costs that you may have incurred in relation to any cancelled events, courses and conferences.
The health and safety of our attendees and staff is our priority and all AITD events comply with state and federal COVID-19 measures, as well as any venue policies - including vaccination requirements, if applicable.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19, have been in recent contact with a confirmed case or are experiencing any symptoms, we ask that you do not attend and contact the event organiser at your earliest convenience.
Where government regulations restrict or prohibit a planned face-to-face event, AITD reserves the right to either postpone the event or to deliver the event virtually. If the event is postponed and you cannot make the new dates or you do not wish to attend virtually, you may transfer your registration to a substitute attendee or receive a credit note for the full amount to be used within 12 months.
Exhibitors and sponsors may be given a list of all registered attendees identifying your name and basic contact details only. Receipt of your registration form will confirm consent for your details to be added to the delegate list. Should you wish to opt out, please contact AITD to request the removal of your details from the delegate list.
