Jane has worked in a broad mix of industries across this time, contributed just over a decade on the AITD SA council including 6 years on the national board including three in the national Chair role. Working with insightful, generous, and passionate people in this industry is what keeps Jane working with joy.

Over the last 7 years, Peter has worked with some of the World’s most recognisable brands to integrate new technologies into their learning and development programs. Over this time, Peter has developed unique expertise and insights into the integration of technology into L&D programs, and he has been invited to share these ideas at conferences and seminars throughout Australia.

Simon Dewar is BSI’s Group Chief Executive Officer and has a background in learning and digital consulting spanning 18 years. A leader in large scale digital and blended learning, Simon manages BSI’s key client relationships, and is often engaged on solution design for clients most critical and challenging projects. His leadership, oversight, and ability to devise, consult and build governance, as well as guiding the process around key learning deliverables ensures delivery of practical, fit for purpose learning strategies that have seen BSI win national awards for learning excellence.

Kath Hume

Kath Hume

Kath Hume has been consulting to Healthcare, Education, Financial Services, Not-for-profit and other industries for over 20 years. She is the Director of Workforce Transformations Australia and is passionate about creating brighter futures by empowering humans to learn continuously and perform to their potential.

She holds a Master of Adult Education, Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) and has experience educating humans at all states of their lives. This has enabled her to successfully support organisations to build innovative workforce strategies that align the organisational and individual priorities to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.

Most recently, Kath’s been heading collaboration projects to drive meaningful change within both NSW Health and NSW Department of Education.

As host of ‘The reimagined workforce’ podcast, Kath attracts audiences from over 40 countries with required listening for people and culture professionals. The podcast features interviews with real people who share their stories and learnings of how they’re transforming workforces.

In 2022, she was honored with the Best Capability Program award at the AITD Excellence Awards. Her approach to learning solution design is characterized by a multi-faceted and omnichannel strategy, which aims to cater to the requirements of diverse learner groups, modern working environments, and rapidly evolving business needs.

Lee Roulston

Lee Roulston

Lee works closely with Thinka’s senior leadership team on purpose, business strategy and capability development. Lee has a strong background in professional writing, the arts and education and is passionate about design thinking, learning strategy, and taking a human approach to leadership.

On the AITD award-winning project, ‘Health and Safety at Multiplex’, Lee was the lead learning designer and script writer. She worked closely with the client to build simulations that inspired critical thinking and decision-making for maximum learning impact.

Ben leads the operations of Thinka, partnering with teams to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of technology, systems and ways of working. Ben has a proven history in business and enabling high-performance leadership culture. He is a motivated self-starter when it comes to personal and professional development.

On the AITD award-winning project, ‘Health and Safety at Multiplex’, Ben was key in concepting, prototyping, and facilitating the client experience. He is a big picture thinker with expertise in identifying organisational pain points and creating engaging learner experiences.

With over 17 years of experience in HR and Learning, she leads the Capability function that sets the strategic direction for Gilbert + Tobin to lead the way for law firms in the development of talent.

Driven by her strategy of innovation and improving employee engagement, Andrea is transforming Gilbert + Tobin’s focus on creating a culture of learning fit for the future.

Andrea has held senior roles across Learning, Organisational Development, Talent, Leadership, Capability and Performance with leading companies. The range of sectors she has worked across include: Telco, Professional Services, Financial Services with leading brands; Telstra, KPMG and Macquarie Bank among others.
