Your South Australian AITD Divisional Council invites you to our ‘Spring 2022’ in-person World Café style event at the Majestic Roof Garden Hotel in Adelaide.

As Learning & Development professionals, it is imperative that we maintain effective connections with our organisations but more importantly, with our people. This is essential when considering the rapid pace of change associated with technology as well as the unique work practices within ALL of the professions and industries we’re connected to.

As the world becomes even more reliant on technology, and as remote work practices become the norm in certain professions and industries, how do we NOT lose sight of the human being; the person just like you and I, at the receiving end of our programs?

Places for this World Café style event are limited so please reserve your ticket now!

Key takeaways include:

•           Consideration of your training audience: we’re all so similar but also… so different.

•           Centring learning design towards actual people: can we always achieve it?

•           Engagement of your audience: EVERYBODY learns from an infinite array of skills, experiences and contexts.

•           The most suitable learning environments: are they still classrooms with tables n’ chairs set-up in straight rows or that classic ‘U’-shape / horseshoe?

•           Diverse workforces and learning audiences: so many factors. Where do we start and where, if ever, do we finish?
