About Me
My background is in secondary education, but I'm relatively new to learning design, having wet my whistle authoring and publishing digital and printable learning materials for use by classroom teachers during the pandemic.
In 2022 I completed a 6-month intensive course in instructional design with Victoria University, and I was excited to find a job with Kit, a children's pocket money app, later that same year. While unlike many learning designers my focus is on children's education, many of the principals and tools are the same, and my work with Kit draws both on my new understandings of learning design, e- and m-learning, and my knowledge of pedagogy.
