Notice of Annual General Meeting of the Australian Institute of Training and Development

Notice is given that the annual general meeting (AGM) of the members of the Australian Institute of Training and Development has been postponed from its originally proposed date (Friday, 26 November 2021) and will now be held on Friday, 10 December at 4:30pm (AEDT).
This postponement is in accordance with ASIC extending the deadline for both listed and unlisted entities to lodge financial reports in order to assist with any pressures on resources for the audits and provide adequate time for the completion of the audit process, taking into account challenges presented by COVID-19 conditions.
The AITD board has considered the information needs of its members and other users of these financial reports and wants to ensure the distribution of audited reports with adequate lead time prior to the AGM.
While restrictions relating to the COVID-19 pandemic appear to be easing, this meeting will be held virtually via an online portal to maintain the safety of our L&D community.

Registration
AITD is offering members eligible under the AITD constitution the opportunity to participate in proceedings of the AGM. To attend, please register by 2:00pm (AEDT) on Friday, 10 December.

Proxy Voting
Members who are unable to attend the AGM may nominate another member to vote on their behalf by completing the below proxy form and returning it to admin@aitd.com.au by Wednesday, 8 December.
